Deer stew is diced venison of the highest quality from Polish forests. It can be used as an alternative to beef stew. Incredibly aromatic and full of natural "wild" flavor from forest fruits, grasses, mosses, herbs and shrubs growing in forests and meadows. You can use it to make a delicious warming stew, but it will also be great in casseroles and pâtés. It goes well with distinctive spices and wine, as well as sweet additions such as cranberries. It is very low in fat and cholesterol.
