What is the organic beef certification?
Only the highest quality meat sourced according to certain standards can be labeled as organic beef. It is not enough for a farm to be BIO-certified, each head of cattle under an organic program must be "pulled" for certification by a special certification body. Its passport will indicate this, along with a unique ear tag number. The animals must be raised according to certain rules from the beginning. Control over whether the rules are followed on the farm is exercised by the aforementioned certification body, and this is done during numerous farm audits.
The standards are primarily concerned with the principles of caring for animal health, feeding (feed must be BIO-certified), free range and many other detailed requirements that take into account the needs of the species at every stage of rearing up to slaughter.
Meat that meets all the requirements gets a certificate certifying that it is BIO meat. In the European Union, such a logo is the "eco-label," the EU's seal of eco-friendliness placed on the label.
The noble taste of beef
Beef is one of the noblest and healthiest meats. It is perfect for grilling, both in the form of appetizing steaks and burgers. It tastes great fried, roasted or braised. BIO beef has the added refinement of taste that comes from natural feeds and attention to the healthy development of cattle.
