Polish young oat goose
(price includes VAT)
Polish young oat goose is considered a unique delicacy. Raised according to strict guidelines, it's fed almost exclusively on green fodder, and during the final 3 weeks out of a 14-17 week period, it's fed solely oats. This diet results in exceptionally healthy and flavorful meat. Oat goose meat contains only up to 5 percent fat, 23 percent protein, plenty of vitamins, and iron.
It's worth noting that oat goose meat has a beneficial composition of fatty acids, with around 70 percent easily absorbable unsaturated fatty acids, and a low cholesterol content of 30 mg/100 g of tissue.
By comparison, pork meat contains nearly 30 percent fat. Polish oat goose falls under the category of healthy food, determined by its genetic properties, appropriate feeding and care methods, and maintaining the right environmental conditions.
An average oat goose carcass weighs between 5 and 7 kilograms. To prepare it, simply rub the meat with salt and marjoram, and then roast it.
